Expansion caps are used in movement joints to provide a void at the end of dowel bars to allow longitudinal movement. The cap features a series of fins inside to grip the dowel bar and a collapsible matrix at the end of the cap to provide a collapsible void for expansion.
Expansion caps are sold in bags of 100.
