Penetrating Waterproofers

Penetrating waterproofers are ideal for waterproofing new or old concrete and are designed to prevent water from passing through the capillaries of the concrete. If water passes through concrete into living spaces, it can cause a range of issues including; rising damp, surface delamination, efflorescence, coating delamination etc. If floor coverings are placed over untreated concrete, rising damp may affect the covering, glue and adhesives causing them to fail. Penetrating waterproofers essentially block the pores and capillaries preventing the passage of water.
