Concrete once set, is extremely hard-wearing and tough, and that’s why you don’t want it to set on your tools and equipment, walls and windows or even worse, your vehicle. When concrete gets where it shouldn’t, removing it can be difficult. Whilst hydrochloric acid will break down concrete slurry, it can often damage substrates and surfaces and they’re dangerous to use. Natural acidic concrete removers are a much safer alternative, better for the environment and are less prone to substate damage.

Whilst plain concrete is functional, adding a finish to it will not only make it look great but will often make the surface more durable and non slip. Colour hardeners are a great example of this; the application of colour hardener makes the surface 2-3 times more durable and when combined with a stipple or broom finish, results in a hard wearing, non slip finish. Stencil and stamp pattern concrete also use colour hardener along with additional products to create “Faux Brick” or Slate pattern. This is a great way to create a beautiful brick or slate finish without the head ache of moving pavers or weeds growing through the joints.
Exposed aggregate is perhaps the most popular finish due to it modern, natural appearance, ease of installation and ease of maintenance.
