Boss Erosion Control – 1000L
$3,463.00
Boss Erosion Control (BEC) is a specialty product developed as a soil stabilisation binder for non-trafficable areas.
BEC is diluted with water and will form a long-term crust on application to open ground areas.
BEC is effective on all material types and will also provide a long-term solution to protect against wind and water erosion
BEC is diluted with water and applied by a watering system at a rate of 10%-33% or 1-part BEC 2-parts water.
Coverage rate for application is recommended at a rate of 1-2m2/L.
Stabilisation trials to determine the desired ratio are recommended.
Allow Boss Erosion Control (BEC) to dry completely to be fully effective. For best results avoid application to waterlogged or wet clay areas where possible, allow ground surface area to dry out prior to application.
Boss Erosion Control (BEC) is an off-white milky appearance, dye markers can be added as a visual aid for application
- Increased surface life and reduced dust levels.
- Easily applied through any watering system, dilutes with water.
- Product can last up to 18 months when applied correctly.
- Maintains natural appearance.
- Improved surface load carrying capacity.
- Improved structural integrity, effective in wet conditions.
- Strong resistance to wind and water erosion.
- Will not wash out of the soil by rain/water.
- Reduction in maintenance costs for untreated surfaces.

FAQs
What is dust suppression and how does it work?
Dust suppression refers to methods and products used to prevent dust particles from becoming airborne. It works by binding fine particles together, reducing their movement in response to wind, traffic, or machinery. Dust suppression solutions, such as liquid binders and polymer-based solutions, help control dust efficiently across construction sites, quarries, and roads.
What are the most effective dust control solutions?
The best dust control solutions depend on the environment and application. Dust suppression sprays work well for short-term solutions, while dust suppression liquids and polymer-based dust suppressant liquids offer longer-lasting control. For high-traffic areas, stabilising the surface with a binding agent can be more effective than water-based sprays.
What are the different types of dust suppression systems?
There are several dust control solutions, each suited to different applications:
- Dust suppression sprays: Water-based solutions applied to surfaces for short-term dust control.
- Dust suppression liquids: A mix of water, binders, and additives to improve dust control efficiency.
- Mechanical solutions: Windbreaks, fencing, and barriers to limit dust movement.
How long do dust suppression solutions last?
Water-based liquids vary in their staying power. The longevity depends on both product type and site conditions. Water-based dust suppression sprays offer shorter-term control, lasting anywhere from a few hours to several days. For extended protection, polymer-based dust suppression liquids pack more punch - these robust solutions can effectively control dust for weeks or even months, with their duration influenced by application rates and weather patterns.
Can dust suppression liquids be used on all surfaces?
Dust suppression liquids are versatile. From gravel roads to bustling construction sites, from towering stockpiles to expansive open fields, these solutions deliver effective dust control across diverse terrains. The key is simple. Match your dust suppressant choice to your specific terrain and required control duration.
