Stone Dust & Cement
$25.40
Stone Dust & Cement is a specially formulated blend of dried blue metal stone dust and cement and has a variety of uses when finishing concrete. When trowelled into fresh concrete, stone dust & cement creates more “cream” to work with and results in a high strength, harder wearing final surface. It can also be used to help finish concrete that has been rain-affected.
Stone Dust & Cement can also be mixed with water to create a slurry for finish kerb and channel.

FAQs
What are the two types of mortar repair?
There are two main categories of mortar repair solutions: cementitious repair mortars and epoxy repair mortars. Cementitious products are ideal for general-purpose concrete repair, offering good strength, workability, and affordability for a wide range of structural and cosmetic jobs. Epoxy-based mortars provide superior bond strength, chemical resistance, and durability, making them suitable for heavy-duty repairs or industrial environments.
Allcon stocks both types to suit various site requirements—whether you're carrying out general mortar repair cement work or specialised epoxy patching.
What is the difference between cementitious and epoxy repair mortars?
The primary difference lies in their formulation and performance. Cementitious repair mortars are composed of cement, sand, and polymers, and are commonly used for everyday concrete repair work due to their ease of use and cost-effectiveness. Epoxy mortars, on the other hand, are resin-based and provide exceptional bond strength, making them ideal for chemically exposed or high-stress areas.
Many cementitious products, such as Aftek High Build Mortar, are suitable for vertical and overhead applications, offering versatility for complex repair mortar concrete jobs.
Is this mortar suitable for vertical and overhead applications?
Yes, many of Allcon’s concrete repair mortar options are engineered specifically for vertical and overhead repairs. Products like Aftek High Build Mortar are designed to stay in place without sagging, making them ideal for wall and soffit applications. These repair mortar types bond well to existing surfaces and maintain structural integrity, even in challenging positions.
If you need to patch concrete on columns, beams, or overhead slabs, we can recommend the most suitable mortar repair product based on your project conditions.
How quickly can this be shipped to my location?
Allcon provides same-day delivery of concrete repair mortar to customers in the Sydney and Melbourne metro areas. For all other locations across Australia, we offer same-day despatch, ensuring your mortar repair cement products arrive promptly to keep your project moving.
