Silt Fence – 800mm x 100m

Silt fence is woven from UV stabilised polypropylene and is used on construction sites to contain silt and sediment and to prevent erosion. Once soil has been disturbed during excavation or construction, water runoff erodes the surface causing sediment and silt to contaminate and potentially block waterways. Silt fence is installed using timber pegs and allows the water to pass through but capture and contain silt and sediment.
