“The Stinger” CSV has all the same features as the standard unit with the addition of a selectable speed option. To ensure the best possible consolidation, the vibration speed should be set depending on slump of the mix. The CSV allows you to choose between the set speeds of 6,000, 8,0000, 10,500 and 12,500 VPM via a bluetooth Minnich app available on both Android and IOS platforms.
By controlling the VPM based on the slump of the concrete, contractors can achieve much more effective consolidation traditional vibrators. High slump, pumpable mixes are best vibrated at lower VPM to prevent segregation and excessive bleed water whilst lower slump mixers require hire VPM’s to ensure controlled and consistent consolidation. The ability to change the vibration speed with the press of a button gives you total control over consolidation regardless of the mix consistency.
