Stego Wrap Vapour Barrier

Stego (R) Wrap is a high performance vapour barrier made from virgin plastic and has an extremely low permeability. Stegowrap is often used as a vapour barrier under concrete slabs where subsequent moisture sensitive coatings or floor coverings are to be installed e.g. sports surfaces. Whilst water cannot pass through most builders film, they are not classed as impermeable. Moisture vapour, gasses or soil sulphates can rise through the builders film, which can cause issues with coatings and floor coverings. Stegowrap is much thicker than builders film, being manufactured from virgin material and has a Class A Vapour rating of less than 0.01perms.
