Base Powder

Base powder is a mix of polymers and cement and is the first component required when resurfacing concrete. The base compound is mixed with water, modifier (glue) and sometimes a tint to create a sprayable cement slurry. This mix can then be applied to a prepared concrete surface using a hopper gun, trowel, broom or squeegee to create a textured, hardwearing surface. There are two base variants available; base grey and base white. Base grey is used as an initial base coat to create a consistent colour and is generally only required prior to applying stencil designs. Base white designed to be mixed with a dispersant to provide a coloured / tinted coat. When mixed correctly, a base coat will cover between 12-15m2 per 20kg bag.
