MEK solvent or Methyl Ethyl Keytone is a strong solvent that evaporates quicker than standard solvent. MEK is ideal for thinning acrylic solvent based sealers in cooler weather as it evaporates quicker allowing the sealer to skin quicker. This helps protect the sealer from moisture damage and helps prevent milky blooms.
