Bullfloats

Bullfloats are typically made from aluminum or magnesium are are used to float the concrete after screeding. Passing a bullfloat over the surface helps to flatten the surface by cutting off high spots and filling in low areas as well as removing any marks left by the screeding process. The wide base of the bullfloat also draws moisture to the surface helping to cure the concrete. Bullfloats connect to a bullfloat handle to enable the floating whilst working from the edge of the pour. A tilt adaptor is included with most bullfloats and allows the operator to pitch the bullfloat by twisting the handle ensuring the bullfloat is at the correct angle to float the concrete.
